Heat Shrinkable Bowed Rolls Covers
Fluoron, Inc. offers heat shrinkable sleeves that provide release characteristics that are unattainable with standard rubber: bowed rolls, spreader rolls or banana rolls. Heat shrinkable covers are manufactured with our Fluoro-Wear™ 102, which provides a much more impressive wear life, 4 to 10x better than the industry standard cover.

For segmented bowed rolls, UHMW-PE is used. UHMW-PE is desirable because it is the toughest of all plastics. The sleeve is cut to ensure sheet-to-roll contact, eliminating air boundaries that create sheet floatation.
